A Michigan native Mattson now lives in LA. She has been performing as a singer, dancer and actress in the theatre since she was eight years old. As a teenager Angie toured Michigan with a musical theatre group and her love of music and the traveling lifestyle continued when she bought a baby blue school bus and followed music festivals and bands around the Midwest selling art and beer. Soon after she moved to Tokyo and worked in the fashion business. Searching for more adventure she then took to life sailing in the Caribbean. With her she brought an old guitar and it was during that time she wrote many of her songs. After a year at sea in the West Indies, it was finally time to pack up, get a job and pursue her career in music. Angie is currently writing, recording and playing at acoustic venues.
